Where most programs have only one quality coach on staff, the entire Tennis Central roster will exceed your expectations.

Do you specialize in adults or kids?

Tennis Central specializes in accelerated improvement for all ages. Our junior methodology creates a path to competitve excellence and our adult programs are designed to inspire beginners, reactivate former players and bring every player we touch to their full potential. We don't pick winners. We make them!

Do you need to be a member of the club to participate in tennis?

YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A MEMBER OF THE GEORGETOWN VISITATION TENNIS CLUB TO ENROLL AND PARTICIPATE IN THE TENNIS PROGRAMS. However, members do receive a special price on all our programs.

What happens if it rains?

Since we are an outdoor only facility, if it rains we will have to cancel the class for that day. Additionally, we will email you if needed. If you have purchased a drop-in class, we will honor your registration for the next class. If you have purchased a 6-week session, you will be able to make up on another available day within the same 6-week session. All but one of our junior and adult clinics are offered two days per week which means you will have 12 clinics during the 6 weeks session to chose from. With prior approval by the Tennis Director, you can also chose to join a class in another program. Once the 6-week session is over there will be no carry-over of missed classes.

What is a 'drop-in' class and how far in advance do I need to enroll?

Drop-in classes are offered for those that do not want to commit to the full 6 week session and are for one class only. Please be advised that you must purchase drop-ins at least 24 hours before the class takes place. If you purchase it less than 24 hours before the class, we can not guarantee your lesson.

Can I bring my outside instructor to give me a lesson?

The Georgetown Tennis Pod rules expressly state that outside instructors not certified by Tennis Central are not allowed on the Georgetown Tennis Pod courts. We have worked hard to design a clinic line-up for kids and adults to meet the needs of the members and welcome any comments or suggestions from the community on how we can continue to improve. Our private lessons or semi-private lessons are fully customizable and our coaches are the best in the area.

What happens if I miss a class?

If you can't attend a class, you need to let us know the day before in order for us to communicate with our coaches the number of players who will be attending the clinic. If you do not communicate with us the day before, we will not be able to offer you a make-up opportunity. If you have purchased a drop-in class and communicated with us, we will honor your registration for the next class. If you have purchased a 6-week session and communicated with us, you will be able to make up on another available day within the same 6-week session. With prior approval by the Tennis Director, you can also chose to join a class in another program. Once the 6-week session is over there will be no carry-over of missed classes.

What is the 'Minimum Number of Registrants Policy'?
