Why choose to play at the Georgetown Tennis Pod by Tennis Central?
We know there are many tennis clubs and programs in the area, however, Tennis Central stands alone in the quality, professionalism, care and results of its programs and coaches. Our model brings world-class academy style coaches trained in the European Player Development System directly to you in the convenience of your community. Where most programs have only one quality coach on staff, the entire Tennis Central roster will exceed your expectations.
Do you specialize in adults or kids?
Tennis Central specializes in accelerated improvement for all ages. Our junior methodology creates a path to competitve excellence and our adult programs are designed to inspire beginners, reactivate former players and bring every player we touch to their full potential. We don't pick winners. We make them!
Do you need to be a member of the club to participate in tennis?
What happens if it rains?
Since we are an outdoor only facility, if it rains we will have to cancel the class for that day. Additionally, we will email you if needed.
What is a 'drop-in' class and how far in advance do I need to enroll?
Drop-in classes are offered for those that do not want to commit to the full 6 week session and are for one class only. Please be advised that you must purchase drop-ins at least 24 hours before the class takes place. If you purchase it less than 24 hours before the class, we can not guarantee your lesson.
Can I bring my outside instructor to give me a lesson?
The Georgetown Tennis Pod rules expressly state that outside instructors not certified by Tennis Central are not allowed on the Georgetown Tennis Pod courts. We have worked hard to design a clinic line-up for kids and adults to meet the needs of the members and welcome any comments or suggestions from the community on how we can continue to improve. Our private lessons or semi-private lessons are fully customizable and our coaches are the best in the area.
