Wheelchair Tennis

One of the fastest-growing wheelchair sports in the world, wheelchair tennis integrates very easily with the non-disabled game since it can be played on any regular tennis court, with no modifications to the size of the court or the size of rackets or balls. At Tennis Central, we are proud to offer this exclusive clinic for people who are interested in a combination of excellent tennis instruction and outdoor sporting enjoyment
The size of the court, net height, rackets, are the same, but there are two major differences from pedestrian tennis: athletes use specially designed wheelchairs, and the ball may bounce up to two times, where the second bounce may also occur outside the court.
Wheelchair tennis is played at Grand Slams and is one of the sports contested at the Summer Paralympics.

Classes are offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 5.30 pm - 7 pm.
